We’ve teamed up with Melina Meza for this month’s yoga giveaway sweepstakes prize. For the month of January, YogaBasics readers can have a chance to win a copy of Melina’s book, Seasonal Health and Wellness – Change Your Life One Week At A Time.

About Melina Meza:

Melina Meza is a pioneer in the field of yoga, nutrition, and Ayurvedic Health, sharing her knowledge with yogis around the world for more than 20 years. She is the creator of Seasonal Vinyasa Yoga, a holistic practice that features lifestyle, diet, and yoga practices tailored to the rhythms of the four seasons to help people stay healthy as they age. Her passion for Nature, the five elements, beauty, and humor forge the foundation of her unique approach to well-being. In addition to working with individual clients, Melina facilitates year-round yoga and Ayurveda workshops, leading retreats in extraordinary sanctuaries around the world.

About the prize:

Two winners will each receive a copy of Seasonal Health and Wellness. This inspirational guidebook features 52 simple and effective seasonal practices, one for each week of the year. The practices span a range of focuses—some are dietary, some meditative, some yoga, and others geared to sleep or self-care. Each is designed to be followed at a particular time of day, during a particular season when it is most supported. Each practice is sequenced in a way that allows you to not only feel connected to Nature’s rhythms but also connects you to a consistent and steadfast practice that allows you to feel better in new ways each day. The book also contains 56 of Melina’s original photographs, some in color and others in black and white. The photographs are aligned with the seasonal practice suggested and were selected to inspire you to keep the book open all week to help you maintain your weekly commitment.
